Our Story
A family business built on quality.
Shutters Factory was founded in 2010 with a straightforward belief: if you supply the trade honestly — with quality products, fair pricing, and genuine support — the business will grow itself. Sixteen years later, that belief still drives everything we do.
Our Romanian factory produces composite shutters with 2–3 week lead times — the fastest in the UK market. Our Shanghai factory covers the full range of hardwood and aluminium products. Both facilities have dedicated QC teams checking every order before it leaves.
Today, we supply over 188 trade partners across the UK. We don’t sell to the public. We don’t compete in your market. We manufacture, we deliver with our own fleet, and we support you with dedicated trade managers who visit regularly.
Founded

Romanian Factory
Opened our first European factory in Romania, giving trade partners access to EU-manufactured composite shutters.
Mimeo Launched
Our flagship composite shutter launched, setting the standard for quality and value in the UK trade market.
Endura Patent
Filed and granted UK patent for Endura ABS shutters — an industry first. Exclusive to Shutters Factory trade partners.
Delivery Fleet
Launched our own branded delivery fleet. No more third-party couriers — real tracking and professional handover.
Record Month
188 new trade accounts opened across the UK. Endura ABS production moves to Romania with 2–3 week lead times.
KoverIQ & EU Production
KoverIQ platform launch. Endura ABS moves to EU production. Our biggest year yet.
Manufacturing
Two factories. Seven lines.
Our manufacturing is split across Romania and China, giving trade partners access to the fastest lead times in the UK alongside the widest product range in the market.
Romanian Factory
Our European composite production facility. Three dedicated lines producing Luma, Mimeo, and from 2026, Endura ABS shutters. EU manufacturing means faster transit and no import complications.
Shanghai Factory
Our full-range production facility in Shanghai. Six lines covering paulownia, basswood, aluminium, composite, and wood grain. Dedicated QC team on-site.
